Confidence

Mileage verification

Odometer fraud is the biggest single risk in the import market. Here is exactly how we check every car we sell.

Four independent sources

We cross-reference the auction sheet reading, the Japanese export de-registration certificate, the shaken (roadworthiness) inspection history, and where available the manufacturer service record.

Any discrepancy between these sources is disclosed on the listing. If we cannot reconcile it, we do not sell the car as mileage-verified.

Physical corroboration

Our workshop assesses wear on the driver's seat bolster, pedal rubbers, steering wheel and gear knob against the claimed figure. Genuine low-mileage cars look the part.

After registration

Once the car is UK registered, every subsequent MOT reading is recorded against the vehicle and remains publicly checkable for the life of the car.
