Our specialism
Japanese imports, done properly
From Grade 4 daily drivers to unmodified collector cars, we buy at Japanese auction, handle the shipping and paperwork, and hand over a UK-registered car you can use immediately.
Why buy a Japanese import?
Japan's domestic market produced models never officially sold in the UK, and its strict shaken inspection regime means cars are typically better maintained and far less corroded than European equivalents of the same age.
Combine that with detailed auction grading and it becomes possible to buy a twenty-year-old performance car with a documented, independently assessed condition — something almost impossible on the UK forecourt.
What we handle
We bid on your behalf or from our own stock budget, arrange export de-registration, marine shipping and UK customs clearance, then pay the duty and VAT due.
On arrival the car goes through customs release, DVLA registration (with IVA or Mutual Recognition where required), MOT, and a full workshop inspection before it is advertised or delivered.
What you receive
Original and translated auction sheet, export certificate and de-registration papers, our own written condition report, MOT certificate, service record and the V5C once DVLA issues it.
