Showroom visit & test drive questions
Everything drivers usually ask before coming to see a Japanese import at our Rowley Regis showroom. Anything else, just get in touch.
- Do I need to book an appointment to visit the HDG Cars showroom?
- You don't have to, but booking is strongly recommended. Our Rowley Regis showroom holds Japanese imports that are often out for preparation, photography or delivery, so a booked slot guarantees a specialist is free and the cars you want to see are on site and ready.
- Can I visit if I haven't chosen a car yet?
- Yes. Choose 'Showroom visit' when booking and you don't need to select a vehicle at all. We'll walk the stock with you, explain auction grades, import history and mileage verification, and help you narrow down what suits your budget.
- What do I need to bring for a test drive?
- Bring your full UK driving licence (photocard) and a second form of ID such as a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your address. Drivers must be 21 or over. We arrange trade insurance cover for the drive, so you don't need your own policy.
- How long does an appointment take?
- Slots are 30 minutes, which is enough for a viewing or a local test drive route. If you want to see several cars or talk through finance and part exchange, book a slot with time either side or tell us in the notes and we'll allow longer.
- What are your showroom opening hours?
- Open 7 days a week · 11:00–19:00. Out-of-hours and evening appointments can usually be arranged by request — call 07778 391254 and we'll fit you in.
- Where is the showroom and is there parking?
- We're at Unit 10 Powke Lane Industrial Estate, Powke Lane, Rowley Regis, West Midlands B65 0AH, a few minutes from the M5 J2 and Junction 2 of the A4123. Free on-site parking is available directly outside the unit.
- Can I reserve a car at the appointment?
- Yes. If the car is right, you can reserve it on the day with a refundable deposit, which takes it off sale while paperwork, finance or part-exchange valuation is completed.
- Can I change or cancel my appointment?
- Yes. Your confirmation email and confirmation screen include a private link where you can reschedule to any free slot or cancel in a couple of clicks. You can also call us on 07778 391254.
